Ann Palica is a Boston area native; an award-winning graphic designer and painter. Ann studied fine art at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and became involved in a variety of fields including live theater management at a performance arts center in Burlington, VT. Ann also runs her own fine arts studio.
Ann now brings her creativity to A Gala Affair. “Event Design is just another form of artistic expression” says Ann. “When I commission a painting or piece of glass for someone, I get pleasure handing the completion piece to my client, but to see a client walk into their wedding or a CEO walk into a massive tent and actually experience all of our ideas come to life…well that is truly drawing people into your art.”
Ann has served as an event planner and designer for various organizations, including: Senator John Kerry, Nantucket Wine Festival, Habitat for Humanity, Raise the Roof, Evening with the Soprano’s, celebrity poker tournaments, elegant dinner parties, weddings, destination parties and celebrations, comedy events, numerous red carpet fundraisers and others. Additionally, Ann serves as the special events designer for the Plymouth Independent Film Festival. She has created events to support the festivals’ mission to educate, enlighten and inspire.
Due to her extensive art background, she also offers branding and marketing of events, invitation design, calligraphy and handmade favors. The combination of Ann and Deborah’s expertise result in incomparable and unique ideas, designs and breathtaking collaborations.
